Coventry Pride is a registered charity. We rely solely on donations, sponsorship, volunteers and fundraising.
Throughout the year we host events to support our LGBT+ community in Coventry.
Now more than ever Pride is needed
As well as being a festival to celebrate the diversity we have in our community, Pride is a protest. To remind us all that every single day, LGBT+ people still face so many challenges and stigmas. From kissing the people they love in public, to simple things such as holding hands, or just being able to be who they truly are. 1 in 5 LGBT+ people have experience a hate crime or incident because of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity in the last 12 months (source: Stonewall).
That’s why Coventry Pride is free to attend, it’s our commitment to build the platform for our community to feel safe and for all voices to be heard, right in the heart of Coventry.
We can’t do this without your support
Whether you’re attending one of our events throughout the year, or the Pride festival itself, to celebrate, demonstrate or just to party, it’s only free thanks to the generosity of our supporters, partners and via your generous donations.
