World AIDS Day is marked on the 1st of December each year.
HIV and AIDS has effected our community for many years. Coventry Pride believes it is important to mark this day.
In 2017 we came come together to remember those lost to AIDS by lighting candles. We were joined byDr Ravi Gowda who talked about progress with HIV treatment and how with early diagnose people living with HIV can live normal healthy lives. Our community came together to fight discrimination towards those who are living with HIV.
We were grateful to Luke from icov.co.uk for filming the event head in 2017.
