Coventry Pride, at the heart of our LGBT+ community


We are now recruiting Trustees & Operational management board members for Coventry Pride.

Coventry Pride is a two-day LGBT+ festival based in Coventry, it attracted 15,000 visitors last year and is expected to do so again in 2019.

Coventry Pride will be having approximately 50-60 volunteers working from the 1st through to the 11th of June to successfully deliver the main Coventry Pride Event.

Coventry Pride also runs smaller events through the year usually with around 4 to 5 volunteers working at them.

In addition to this Coventry Pride has a pastoral services, Education and Outreach arm which runs several social groups, an LGBT+ refugee and asylum seeker group and several LGBT+ support groups.

As a trustee, you will be a member of a 15 strong board who will reflect the diversity of the LGBT+ community to that end we particularly welcome applications from members of the BAME LGBT+ community and female or non-binary identifying members of the LGBT+ community.

In order to continue to grow as an organisation, Coventry pride is splitting the operational and charity oversite responsibilities so that the trustee board will solely look after the strategic vision, legal and charity oversite of Coventry Pride, whilst a new operational management board will lead the effective operation of events and services reporting to the board of trustees
